We really treasure our memories and printed photos. And we have to think about how to make it last and preserve these memories. In my new blog I would like to reiterate how important it is to protect our printed photos and what are the best and cheap ways to do it?
1. Use silica gel sachets to keep the moisture out
Silica gels are really helpful when you’re preserving objects that can get moisture. So if you keep your photos in boxes or cans, make sure to put silica gel sachets inside to prevent moisture that would cause fading on your precious printed photos.
2. Put them in an album
Albums are the cheapest way to keep your photos safe and preserved. Since most of photo albums are made up of plastic, you need to make sure that the room temperature where your photo album is stored is not too hot or else it could melt your photos.
3. Scan those old photos
If you own a very old photo that may get damaged because of weather, you might want to consider and create a digital album for them. This keeps your old photographs treasured for a life time!
4. Frame them
Glass picture frames are the best ways to store your photos. They keep the moisture out and it’s classy. Remember not to place your photos in direct sunlight or else it will fade.
5. Create a collage or display them creatively
If you’re creative, you could do a collage or you could do some creative framing styles that will make your memories come to life.
