In our digital world today, we have a lot of ways storing our files. We have cloud services, drivers, and portable storage devices, even our phones and gadgets are used to store our photos and files. Since we have these technologies accessible, we tend to become lenient in organizing them even with our printed photos.
The evolution of technology has made our lives easier and accessible. Photo printing seems to be a thing of the past, but as long as people have photos to share, printed photos are here to stay.
I am a fan of printed photos, the important memories are being printed out so you could easily share it to your guests and even with family and relatives. Here on my post I will give you 6 simple tips to organize your printed photos.
- Store them on Photo Boxes -Storing your photos in boxes is a very easy way to keep your printed photos. You can store them in archival boxes made of acid free and lignin free materials. Use photo dividers so you can easily navigate and find photos in each file you create. You can put a tag on your dividers so you can identify what kind of photos are those in each group.
- Put them in Photo Albums – Another neat way to organize your printed photos are in photo albums. You can easily slide them into the albums without breaking a sweat. Extra Tip! – You can get extra creative by putting in speech bubbles and captions on your photos. It makes your photos fun and attractive as well.
- Create a Scrapbook – If you have a creative heart then create a scrapbook where you can place you photos and be creative at the same time. Your photos can be extra beautiful with designs and people will definitely enjoy looking at your photos too.
- Put your photos in picture frames – Picture frames can be easily bought at a very cheap price in dollar stores and you can easily make a design out of it! Good thing about picture frames is that you can see your printed photos outright and people will get to enjoy them as well.
- Organize them Using Clear Ring Folders – Clear folders can be also used to store and organize your printed photos. It’s really important that you label and compile them together based on date and event so you won’t get confused once you need to look for your pictures.
- Scan and digitize – Using a high powered scanner you can scan your photos and digitize them. And then store it using services like Forever and other cloud based storage. You and your family members can enjoy looking at your photos on your smartphones, laptops and iPads. And this lasts forever.
